Zebrawood has a light brown or cream color with narrow veining or streaks that range from dark brown to almost black, giving the surface a zebra-stripe appearance. The lines may vary in density as the grain is interlocked or wavy and produces alternating hard and soft grained areas, which gives it a decorative appearance. It has a coarse texture and a lustrous surface. Highly prized hardwood for it’s unique appearance used in furniture, interiors, speciality items, inlays, turning objects, musical instruments, and veneers. Zebrano originates from West Africa.
