Light to medium brown. Some sections display prominent ray fleck patterns. Straight grain and consistent medium to coarse texture. Very strong and durable desired in boatbuilding. Widely used in furniture, cabinetry, interiors, trim, flooring, barrels, turned objects, and veneers. From Eastern USA. Duho Studios is also a donating member of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and a percentage of their sales go directly to the replanting of trees.
